Discovery Trekking Outfitters Extreme Ultra-Light Fast Drying TowelsWhy you might need itThe Discovery Trekking Outfitters Extreme Ultra-Light Towel is small but very absorbent and takes little space in your survival Bug Out Bag. It's also very soft and dries very fast in comparison to many other towels. This a bath towel that is a great size if space & weight are a concern. It folds up super small for a towel and compresses down to the size of approximately a baseball. Unlike conventional microfiber and cotton towels that absorb moisture, the innovative fabric is designed to pull water from your skin and then spread the moisture across the surface area of the fabric so it evaporates quickly. These breathable towels offer high sun protection and sand won't stick to them. The Extreme Ultralight Towel was developed for Ultralight backpacking and won't weigh down your pack. Even when you can't wash them regularly they will remain soft and luxurious against your skin. This Discovery Trekking Outfitters Extreme Ultra-Light Towel comes in 8 colors with 3 sizes to choose from:
The fabric is made out of a special Polygiene technology that inhibits bacterial growth. This means that your towel won't "smell" like other towels. This anti-microbial technology is virtually permanent and it will not come out when you wash it. It also has SPF sun protection between 15-40, depending on which color you get - the darker the color, the higher the SPF rating. Clean your towels just like other towels to get soaps and lotions out when needed.

Sample Amazon Feedback"It really does dry fast!"
"I would recommend this towel to anyone who plans on backpacking. I used it new out of the package, and at first it seemed small, but then I realized how amazingly effective it is. IT will dry you off and then some. Truly amazing, and VERY light."
"....the embedded silver works amazing and prevents enough bacterial growth so that even if I forget my towel in the trunk I can bring it out and use it without being plagued by the smell of mildew."
"Best travel towel ever. Much softer and silkier than the chamois and cottony feeling towels (I've owned both). It's soft, folds up super small for its size, and makes a great blanket in a crunch (I have the larger size). It also stays on when you wrap it around your waist, unlike the other travel towels I've owned. One of the best travel accessories ever!"
"Just what I was looking for. Lightweight and works great. Compact and quality made. Perfect for the pack and very small but absorbent.Dries quickly hanging on the pack."
"While the towel is already lightweight, I cut a third off to save even more. And yet it still dried my whole body, and dried completely in 30 minutes in a slight breeze. Highly recommend."
"It's lightweight, it compresses easily (down to the size of a baseball or so), and is absorbent enough to function. It's worth the price and worth the weight in my pack."
"Way better than a bulky regular towel for travel - and the silver keeps it from getting nasty. The description missed a key item: there is silver impregnated in the fabric, which keeps it from getting musty and nasty quickly. It really is a small size when you pack it, and yet large enough to really feel like you have a full size towel when you pull it out to use it. Small, lightweight, and all around a great choice for camping. Definitely recommend. It will be going with me whenever I go to summer camp with the Scouts in the future instead of a bulky pool towel."
